Raymond Semanchik, Park Manager
This has been a busy season here at Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Park staff have been working hard accomplishing much needed prescribed burns with a focus on restoring the park’s natural communities.
Restoration is also happening on the river. Currently there are multiple areas of the river with transplanted aquatic grasses as we continue to restore and protect the Ichetucknee River.
As it warms up, we are welcoming everyone to come cool off with a swim in the springs or enjoy a lazy paddle or float. You might even spot a manatee or two. When you visit, please take in the natural beauty of the Ichetucknee River and the forest that surrounds it.
We encourage everyone to take part in protecting this amazing natural resource so that it can be enjoyed by future generations.
