Come out and visit our beautiful piece of the Real Florida in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Here you can enjoy shade-covered walking trails, an amazing ocean view, fishing along the Intracoastal and direct access to the beach. The road has been widened to include a designated lane for walking, running, bicycling, inline skating or walking your dog. You can rent a canoe, kayak, SUP, jet-ski, or beach chair and umbrella from our concessionaire.
The park’s freshwater coastal dune lake - Long Lake - is a great place to paddle and the “moat” is navigable for the first time in many years. Our restaurant, Park & Ocean, is open daily and serves delicious specialties such as fish tacos, brisket grilled cheese, island conch fritters, avocado salad, local beer and frosé. We have several miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, playground, a sand volleyball court and pavilions.
While visiting, you may be fortunate enough to see a passing manatee, yellow-crowned night heron, gopher tortoise or Atala butterfly.
