Friend Groups

The Paynes Creek Preservation Alliance purpose is to raise funds from events and appropriate grants that can be used by the park for projects and equipment purchases. Along with financial support the organization provides volunteer support to help grow the park and its involvement with our communities.

Salt Springs Alliance is the citizen support organization for Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park. Our goal is to support our park in the fulfillment of its mission by providing financial and human resources.

The CSO is an organization dedicated to helping the park succeed in all of its endeavors and to increase the park's participation in the local community.  

Throughout the year, The Barnacle Society sponsors numerous events, including moonlight concerts and outdoor films, in an effort to raise funds to support this lovely Historic State Park.

Wekiva Wilderness Trust supports Wekiwa Springs, Rock Springs Run State Reserve and Lower Wekiva River Preserve State Parks. There are many volunteer opportunities from helping to run the nature center and conducting guided walks to river patrol and assisting rangers in the park.

The Ybor City Museum Society is committed to its mission of preserving, promoting and celebrating the unique cultural heritage of Ybor City, one of only three National Historic Landmark Districts in Florida.
