Friend Groups

The mission of Friends of Cayo Costa State Park is to preserve, protect and promote the unique unspoiled natural beauty and heritage for future generations.

The Friends of Collier-Seminole State Park is a not-for-profit citizen support organization that helps promote the park in a variety of ways.

The mission of the Friends of Colt Creek State Park is to enhance the use and enjoyment of the park for the people of Florida and its visitors.

The role of the friends group is to support the park and to help make improvements to buildings, develop exhibits and provide enhancements that improve the visitor experience.

The friends assist the park with resource management which could include removal of exotic plants, restoration of habitats, boardwalk repairs, beach and picnic area cleanup. Funds raised by the Friends are used for specific projects in the park and to purchase equipment for staff and park use.

Friends of Dudley Farm work with the park staff to support the preservation, interpretation and operation of this historic state park. Our activities range from sponsoring special events, collections of dues and contributions, to providing fundraising and programs/gatherings for volunteers.

The Friends of Dunns Creek State Park is a nonprofit organization authorized by the Florida Parks Service to generate additional support for Dunns Creek State Park.

The Friends group was formed for the express purpose of providing assistance to park staff. The Friends have contributed tens of thousands of hours of lovingly given labor to Eden Gardens.

Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks is a citizen support organization, made up of park volunteers and people like you. We share a love of our state parks and a desire to support their recreational, environmental and economic value to the community.

The Friends of Fakahatchee work hand in hand with park staff to provide resource-based recreation while interpreting, preserving and restoring natural resources.

The Friends of Fort Clinch State Park's mission is the preserving of natural and cultural resources, and providing recreational and educational opportunities.

The Friends of Fort Cooper was formed on March 17, 1989, to operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. It functions as a citizen support organization for Fort Cooper State Park. The group works to increase public awareness about the park and provide volunteer service.

Our organization supports St. George Island State Park, Orman House Historic State Park, John Gorrie State Park Museum, Chapman Botanical Gardens and the Three Servicemen Plaza.

The Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park is a community-based citizen support organization whose purpose is to support Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach and North Peninsula State Park through volunteerism and fundraising.

The Friends of Grayton Beach and Deer Lake State Parks is a nonprofit that raises funds to help carry out the park mission of educating the public and preserving the park for future generations.

An award-winning Friends Group established in 1993. The nonprofit supports Highlands Hammock and Lake June in Winter Scrub State Parks by raising funds. The group is notable for supporting special events such as the famous Firefly Tours, improving the parks for enhanced visitor’s experience, and volunteering to conduct tram tours to educate the public.
